Cold-pressed and un-pasteurized 100% juices to comply with HACCP regulations

Lawrenceville  NJ, March 2015.

Cold-pressed and un-pasteurized 100% juices are a fast-growing category among premium fruit beverages.  High pressure processing (HPP) is the technology that provides food safety to a wide range of these products.  All of this is ideal when the fruit is extracted immediately before filling and HPP processing, but what about products that are extracted half a world away ?

In order to comply with juice HACCP regulations, processors are required to demonstrate a 5-log reduction of pathogens of concern.

To address these concerns, leading tropical fruit ingredient supplier iTi Tropicals is pleased to announce frozen raw fruit ingredients from their advanced network of partner processors.  iTi partner processors undergo stringent iTi and third party food safety audits for field practice, fruit reception, processing and freezing.  These standards allow us to bring raw tropical fruits to HPP processors.  With over 26-years of experience with tropical fruits, iTi expertise brings the consumer appeal of tropical fruits to raw, HPP-processed beverages.

The first products that iTi is presenting for R&D development are single strength passion fruit juice and single strength passion fruit with seeds. We have other items under evaluation and will provide an update soonest.
