Banana Rum Cake

Traditional rum cake with a hint of banana 

Featuring: 1200 Banana Puree, 1500 Green Banana Flour

Directions

1.  Measure all ingredients. Preheat oven to 325ºF.

2.  Grease a Bundt pan and set aside.

3.  In a stand mixer, cream the butter until light and fluffy.  Add the sugar and cream for an additional minute.

4.  Add the rum, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla extract, lemon juice, sour cream, and 1200 Banana Puree to the butter and sugar mixture. Mix until all ingredients have been fully incorporated into the mixture.

5.  In a separate bowl, combine flour, 1500 Banana Flour, baking soda, and salt.  Sift the mixture, then combine with the wet mixture. Mix to combine.

6.  Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan. 

7. Bake for 55-60 minutes.
