How to Make Cold Brew Coffee with Coconut Water: A Refreshing Twist 

Need a drink that’s both refreshing and energizing? Look no further; coffee cold brewed in coconut water is the perfect beverage to boost your energy and keep you hydrated.   

 Why Coconut Water?  

  • It has five essential electrolytes, including potassium, magnesium, and calcium. 

  •  It has no added sugar, fat, cholesterol or preservatives, and is significantly lower in calories than many other juices.  

  • It provides added mouthfeel and body to your cold brew coffee product.

2610 Frozen Coconut Water Concentrate

1. Combine 2610 Coconut Water Concentrate, water, and ground coffee in a pitcher or jar. Mix well to ensure the coffee grounds are fully saturated.  

2. Cover the vessel used to store the mixture. Place in the refrigerator and allow to steep for 12-24 hours**.  This will create a coffee concentrate. 

3. After steeping, strain the coffee through a coffee filter or cheesecloth into a clean container. This will create a smooth coffee concentrate.   

4. Dilute the coffee concentrate following the steps below.

1. Combine 2610 Coconut Water Concentrate, coffee concentrate, and water. Mix well. 

2. Serve chilled and use immediately. 

*The percentages listed above are based on a 4:1 ratio (4 cups of coconut water to 1 cup of coffee) for the coffee concentrate and a 3:1 ratio (3 cups of coconut water to 1 cup of coffee concentrate) for the coffee concentrate dilution.   

**Depending on the roast/type of coffee used, steep time may vary.
