Recipe Video: Guava Coconut Dessert Pizza

Add a tropical, exotic twist to pizza sauces with guava and coconut.  Guava and coconut are the perfect pair of ingredients to incorporate into a dessert pizza sauce because not only do they compliment each other, they also compliment other ingredients including cinnamon, brown sugar, and ricotta cheese!

Ingredients

3500 Aseptic Pink Guava Puree

2970 Coconut Milk Powder, 100% Coconut

Brown sugar

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Salt

Total


Directions            

1. Measure all ingredients.

2. Combine 2970, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a food processor.

3. Process the mixture for 30 seconds - 1 minute, until all ingredients are combined.

4. Add 3500 Guava Puree to the mixture and process for an additional 30 seconds.

Directions

1. Roll out pizza dough and measure all ingredients.

2. In a stand mixer, whip the cream cheese and ricotta cheese together on medium speed.  Whip until combined, about one minutes.

3. Transfer the whipped cheese mixture to a pastry bag. Set aside.

4. Using a ladle, spread out the guava, coconut, brown sugar sauce.

5. Pipe the whipped cream cheese and ricotta cheese onto the pizza

6. Transfer to oven and bake!
