Trick or Tropical Treats?
This Halloween, iTi made some delicious tropical treats in the R&D innovation center for the holiday. Now that the holiday has come and gone, it’s time to brainstorm and start creating next year’s treats!
At iTi it’s our favorite thing to give traditional food and drinks a tropical twist. From candy corn to truffles, we’ve compiled tropical spins on of all your favorite candies. As consumers look for new ways to enjoy classic treats, tropical-flavored snacks become more mainstream.
Check out the sweets we whipped up and get inspired for next year’s spookiest holiday. Below are just a few formulas we developed ourselves.
Passionfruit
Passionfruit Marshmallows– made with clarified passionfruit juice

Coconut Caramels– made with coconut cream
Coconut Water Gummy Bears– made with coconut water concentrate, colored pink with dragon fruit
Candy Corn– made with coconut milk powder, pineapple juice concentrate, mango concentrate
Guava
Guava Caramel Corn– made with clarified guava concentrate
Banana
Banana Caramel Dipped Apples– made with clarified banana concentrate
Banana Açaí Gummies– made with acai puree and clarified banana
