Dive into Summer with Mango, Passionfruit, and Coconuts!
It’s Memorial Day Weekend, and that means the first tastes of everyone’s summer favorites! From chips and guacamole to margaritas and more, consumers are prepping their favorite summer snacks. Now is the time to offer customers alternatives to the traditional summertime snacks. Get tropical by adding some iTi ingredients to the best recipes of the season!
Chips and guacamole: always a crowd pleaser. Consumers eat this creamy delight on burgers, piled on top of nachos, or simply with tortilla chips. Try combining your classic guacamole with tropical fruits like mango and passionfruit for a whole new experience that consumers won’t be able to forget.
Plus, tropical lets you do the swap. Instead of adding lime or lemon juice, the acidity of passionfruit will keep the guacamole a vibrant, green color. Add 12% passionfruit juice to your guacamole recipe. Guacamole and fruit just might be the next classic combo! So start swapping those limes for passionfruit and stand out on the shelves.
The Memorial Day BBQ is not complete without a phenomenal summer drink in consumers’ hands. Try a sweet and savory combination of mango, coconut and chili in a frozen margarita. Mango, a popular flavor, is the perfect summertime ingredient to add to margarita mixes. Consider adding coconut milk to your mix product as well, and offer a vegan-friendly option, as it acts as a beneficial dairy replacement.
