Product Innovation and Sample Capabilities Expanded
iTi Tropicals , supplier of bulk tropical fruit juice purees and concentrates is pleased to announce a major expansion of its technical and product innovation support capabilities with the inauguration its new ‘Innovation Center’.
Given the growing popularity of coconut water and coconut cream, the new
Innovation Center works to develop new beverage concepts. In particular, the low starting brix, relative bland flavor and neutral color of coconut water make it an ideal blending juice for developers seeking to reduce calories while still offering 100% juice products. The new Innovation Center has bench capacity for three product development scientists.
In the past, product innovation shared space with iTi frozen sample storage, preparation and shipping. The new facility frees-up space in the sample kitchen, making it easier to provide product samples on a timely basis. Segregating the Innovation Center also provides more privacy for visiting customer scientists to work side-by-side with iTi technical staff.
iTi takes pride in these important activities which support, research and highlight the many new ways that tropical fruit ingredients bring the excitement of exotic fruits to new products.
iTi Tropicals extends invitations to visit the innovation center for hands-on demonstrations of our products and applications. Clients can work side-by-side with our R&D staff preparing prototypes using client-developed formulations or relying on our library of prototype formulas as a starting point.
