iTi Tropicals Partners with Kitchen Twins on Coconut Water Juice Blends Video
The 90-second video features the twin girls demonstrating an easy way to cut the sugars of your favorite juices in half with one simple trick.

“When I learned that two local, innovative young girls (The Kitchen Twins) had a passion for health and nutrition and were active in blogging and video creation, I was intrigued,” says iTi Tropicals Founder, Gert van Manen. “I reached out to propose a partnership in spreading the word about the benefits of blending coconut water to make great fruit juices even better. And they came back with enthusiasm and great ideas.”
In the 90-second video, The Kitchen Twins, Emily and Lyla Allen (seventh graders at the Princeton Day School) demonstrate an easy way to cut sugars in your favorite juice beverages by blending them with coconut water, as taught to them by iTi Tropicals’ innovation team.
“It’s great because the juice and coconut water taste delicious and, at the same time, have half the sugars of your regular juice!” Emily said. Lyla agrees, adding “We’ve actually been blending coconut water into our juices for a while because we love that it improves our hydration, especially during sports, and we think it tastes better!”
In the video, the twins blend 100% orange juice with 100% coconut water, making a glass of juice with almost half the sugar. They explain that coconut water makes a great blend because of its subtle taste and color. In addition to its health benefits, coconut water is a natural source of hydration.
